A report created by Canalys provided insight to sales of the tec gadgets in Western EU shows growth slowing down in sales of PCs (desktops, notebooks, and workstations) despite the high demand. In the Tablet market share, there was a strong increase in the market share of Apple ( understandable with their introduction of the M1 chip inside their premium pads and mini LEDs).
The Apple iPad has proven to last for years, with me personally owning an iPad mini one from as far back as 2012 and iPad 2 which I barely use. This year in the 2021 year I purchased an iPad Air 4 to replace my old Mini and this iPad has a gorgeous screen especially watching youtube videos and Netflix, despite it not being an OLED screen.
Lenovo the other hand surprised many with the huge increase in demand for their tablets that could be attributed to their low cost. Within the same period, Samsung lost market share by 24% down to 18% as compared to the previous year.

Lenovo’s tablet can be purchased on Aliexpress for only $333 to $360 USD as compared to the nearest rival the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 which is priced at $750 dollars.
Their new tablet the Lenovo Xiaoxin Pad Pro 2021 features an 11.5-inch 90Hz OLED display with 2K+ resolution, while for performance, it’s powered by the Snapdragon 870 chipset 90Hz 2K+ display on a tablet priced under 500 US dollars.
The 2021 edition supports both HDR10 and Dolby Vision. Lenovo officially released a productivity case with an exclusive keyboard and a touchpad.
What’s more interesting is that Lenovo has designed a well-functioning PC mode for all their devices, including the Legion game phones and the tab products. When entering the PC mode with the keyboard, the user interface and interaction is really no different from a laptop.
